The Valley is uniquely situated in the Northwest of Mallorca between the Serra de Tramuntana Mountains and the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. An easy 35-minute drive from the airport, which has direct flights to most European capitals and big cities.
A UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE LOCATION
Walk from Sóller to Biniaraix and into the ‘Barranc’ where after good rains you can spot a waterfall; visit the hillside village of Fornalutx, voted the most beautiful village in Spain in 2016. Or hike along the cliffs overlooking the sea as you discover long ago abandoned watchtowers built to keep an eye out for invading pirates. You can also cycle and horseback ride on the trails. The options are endless.
PORT OF SÓLLER, A MEDITERRANEAN GEM
The vibrant Port of Sóller is easily accessible by car, bike, foot or tram from Sóller's village.
This perfectly formed horseshoe bay has a rich history—from marauding pirates to a bustling trading route with the South of France. Today, it features a long boardwalk attractively filled with cafes, shops, hotels, and of course, the port itself where you can set out sailing for the day or grab a ferry to another part of the island.
EXPLORE SOLLERIC CULTURE
Throughout the year there are festivals and events that bring this small community together. The valley has been referred to as “The Golden Valley” for centuries not only because it was successful in its trading and commerce but it was also where much of the produce was grown that fed a large part of the island.
